Headphones: true wireless, over-ear or wired

Types of headphones

• True wireless (TWS) — two separate earbuds and a charging case. Handy for commuting and the gym.
• On-ear and over-ear — sit on or around the ear, usually sound better and last longer on a charge.
• Wired — nothing to charge, no audio delay; good for a computer and gaming.

Noise cancelling (ANC)

Active noise cancelling reduces traffic and office noise. Many models come with and without ANC — these are different products with different prices, so they have separate cards here.

Microphone and connection

For calls and gaming check for a microphone. For a computer check the connector: 3.5 mm, USB or Bluetooth.
