How to choose a smartphone without overpaying

1. Storage matters more than colour

The same model with 128 and 256 GB is two different products with different prices. Photos, video and messengers fill a phone quickly, so for a phone you keep 3–4 years 256 GB is the common choice. Colour usually does not change the price: all colours of a model share one card here.

2. 4G or 5G

Some models come in 4G and 5G versions — they are different phones, often with a different chip. If you do not need 5G, the 4G version can be noticeably cheaper.

3. Cash price vs installment price

Stores often show two prices: pay at once and pay in installments. We compare the pay-at-once price and show the installment price separately — it is usually higher.

4. Check the price history

Each product page has a 90-day chart. If the price has just gone up, it may be worth waiting for a discount or picking the store where it is lower.

5. Check availability

“On order” means the store will bring it in a few days. If you need the phone today, filter the catalog by “In stock only”.
